Bluebonnet Bust!

Our bluebonnet hunt this weekend was unsuccessful. Yes, I know we were a bit early but I've seen so many bluebonnets along I-10 and heard they were ALL along Hwy 71 into Austin. So, we went with the Gobars to Belville on the prowl and...nothing! We stopped at a ranch with a few cows and donkeys and took a few pics. Overall, it was definitely worth the 45 minute drive...it was a good reason to get out of the house with such nice weather.

Carter's First Trip to the Zoo!

We went with the Gobars to the Zoo last weekend. It was Carter's first zoo experience and she had a blast! Most of our time there was spent chasing her around. Almost all of our pictures are of the back of her head! :)

Okay, so I logged in to create a "Catching Up" post and realized that was the title of my last post(oops!) So I titled this one with Carter's new favorite word- oh joy!

Here are some events from the past few weeks.

We had a wonderful Christmas! I'm so sad the holidays are over. Carter really enjoyed herself and had a blast with her family.





Last weekend we went to Dallas to celebrate Emily's first birthday. We had such a great time with the fam and had WONDERFUL weather!

Now that I am finally on Christmas break (YAY!!!) I have some time to post. A lot has been going on during the past few weeks...


We had to get tubes put in Carter's ears. Poor baby...



We celebrated Carter's first Thanksgiving!
